CUSCO ARB refurb

I picked up used uprated ARB’s for the AE70 recently and today i decided to refurb the front item. Its an original cusco arb but was in rough condition! I got a flap disk for the grinder and matched the dull blue of cusco’s arb’s with a ford capri blue in aerosol by holts.

Sale add..

i didn’t buy the panhard.

I began firstly by grinding off a rotted old drop link which had urethane bushings. I then sanded the entire piece back to bare metal with the flap disk – of which i took no picture.

I then applied plenty coats of tetrosyl etch primer for best priming.

I tested the blue on primer elsewhere and it was perfect so i went about lashing on the blue and it came out as new condition.

I have a couple stainless effect cusco stickers that come with new cusco products so i stuck one on there for sake.
